The following is the discography of South Korean boy group BTS. The group debuted in South Korea on June 13, 2013 with 2 Cool 4 Skool. They made a comeback in September with their first mini-album, O!RUL8,2?, which peaked at number 4 on South Korean Gaon charts. BTS then released their second extended play, Skool Luv Affair, in February 2014, where it charted at number one on Gaon. This also marked the first time their album charted on international charts, Billboard World Albums and Japan's Oricon, specifically.[1] A repackaged version of the album with two new songs was released in May,[2] which also peaked at number one in South Korea. To wrap up the year, BTS released their first full-length studio album, Dark & Wild. Although it peaked at number 2 on Gaon, it was their first album to break into US Top Heatseekers charts.[3]

BTS made their Japanese debut on April 23, 2014 with their first single, "No More Dream" and first studio album Wake Up. All three singles from the album made it into the Top 10 in Oricon as well as Japan Hot 100. The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 1 was released in April 29, 2015. It reached number 6 on Top Heatseekers as well as 9th in Japan.[4] Its lead single, "I Need U", reached the Top 5 on Gaon, as well as number 4 on World Digital Songs. Their first compilation album, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, ranked first on Gaon charts[5] and is the group's second entry into the Billboard 200, after the second part of their youth trilogy.

BTS released their first Japanese single since "Danger" in June 2015. Titled "For You", the single became the group's first number one hit in Japan, topping both Oricon and Japan Hot 100.[6] The album also topped Top Heatseekers;[7] the album went on to top World Albums chart for 4 weeks, the most by a South Korean act.[8] The Japanese version of "I Need U" debuted at number one on Oricon.[9]

On September 7, 2016, released their second Japanese studio album, entitled Youth, selling over 44,000 copies in its first day of release, and debuted at first place. It would also become the group's first studio album to rank first on both the daily and weekly Oricon album chart.

The group has sold an estimate of 9.7 million singles and 4.3 million albums worldwide.
