BC Housing Management Commission

The British Columbia Housing Management Commission (more commonly BC Housing) is a crown corporation in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Its mandate is to provide government-subsidized housing for residents of British Columbia, in conjunction with health authorities, private partners and other levels of government in Canada.

Criticism

On September 10, 2012 the CBC showed the following headlines: "Public housing in Vancouver called 'crack shacks and brothels' - CEO admits filthy, crime-ridden buildings in 'abysmal' shape".[1]
