Aykut Hilmi

Aykut Hilmi (born in London, United Kingdom) is an actor of Italian and Turkish-Cypriot parentage. He is known for starring in the West End theatres and is part of the Royal National Theatre company. Aykut was the first Turkish Actor to perform on the NT Olivier Stage from verse to contemporary plays. His film credits include Mamma Mia!, Nine and Beyond the Sea. He has also appeared in several TV dramas including Zen, Spooks, The IT Crowd, One Night and was well known for his bad Boy role Nico Papadopoulos in EastEnders.

Aykut has starred alongside actors such as Keifer Sutherland as an MI5 agent in season 9 of US series 24: Live Another Day , Ben Kingsley in Brad Pitts Netflix production of 'War Machine' and has just filming finished in Morocco for the new movie "Jack Ryan" and about to start filming the movie "Voltaire" as the new Arabic Wizard.
