Aye Wutyi Thaung (Burmese: အေးဝတ်ရည်သောင်း, also known as Aye Thaung; born 27 May 1984) is a film actress and advertising model in Myanmar. She was one of the popular actress and models around 2000 to 2005.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Her name was disappeared for six years when she was busy with her business.[8][9] In 2017, She is popular again with her nickname Aye Thaung from Facebook, and got many requests to act the films and advertisements.[10][11]
Early life
Aye Wutyi Thaung was on born 27 May 1984 in Yangon.[12][13] Her nickname is Pauk-si (Mantou). She started modeling in 1997 and became winner of Miss Christmas in 1998.[14] She did not work as an actress for three years during her studying in Singapore.
Career
Aye Wutyi Thaung started modeling when she was 13 years old.[3] She appeared in about 40 commercials, more than 100 direct-to-videos and 3 films.[15] She also acted for magazine cover photos and wallpapers.[16] She also released her solo music album Lawe Lawe Lay.[17][18][19]
In 2017, she has been acting in Yadanarbon television series[20] and CHARM 2 television series acting with a Bunny Phyoe directed by Thar Nyi in February 2016.[21][22][21][23]
In 2017, Aye Wutyi Thaung is getting popular again on Facebook.[24][25][26] She was appointed as brand ambassador for Remax Myanmar in 2017.[27][28][29][30]
