Ayane Kurihara (栗原 文音, born 27 September 1989) is a female Japanese badminton player.[1] She began playing badminton at 9 years of age, and played competitively from that age. She became a member of the Japan national badminton team at the age of 19.[2] Her current partner is Naru Shinoya for women's doubles and Kenta Kazuno for mixed doubles. Kurihara is scheduled to compete with her partner in mixed doubles at the 2016 Summer Olympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
