Background

zanox and Affiliate Window belong to the zanox Group, formed in 2010 following the acquisition of Affiliate Window by zanox to become Europe’s largest affiliate marketing network. The companies operated independently until 2014, when they merged under one management team with Mark Walters as CEO, Adam Ross as COO and Peter Loveday as CTO, following their 10-year tenure as the Affiliate Window executive team. The Group continued to operate in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, the Nordics, Poland and Brazil as zanox, and as Affiliate Window in the UK and US markets.

Throughout their respective histories, zanox and Affiliate Window were awarded for innovative affiliate marketing solutions and exceptional service including the Deloitte Rising Star accolade, the European Seal of e-Excellence,[1] and several Performance Marketing Awards in the UK and Europe.[2][3]

In 2016, the zanox AG board decided to unify the two companies to become one brand, Awin, to help achieve its mission of becoming the partner of choice for affiliate marketing across the world. Awin launched on 6 March 2017.[4]
