Authorised Neutral Athletes

The Russian hurdler Sergey Shubenkov, one of the 19 athletes allowed to participate at London 2017.

Authorised Neutral Athletes (ANA) is the category under which Russian athletes can compete at international athletics competitions after the doping scandal which first came to light in December 2014.[1][2]

In April 2017 at World Championships of London 2017, the International Association of Athletics Federations approves the participation of 19 Russian athletes.[3]
