Austrophlebia subcostalis is a species of dragonfly of the family Telephlebiidae,[2] commonly known as the northern giant darner.[3] It is an enormous dragonfly with brown and yellow markings.[3] It inhabits rainforest streams in north-eastern Australia[4]
