Austroargiolestes isabellae is a species of Australian damselfly in the family Megapodagrionidae,[2] commonly known as a Sydney flatwing.[3] It is endemic to the Sydney district, where it inhabits streams and boggy areas.[4]

Austroargiolestes isabellae is a medium-sized to large, black and pale yellow damselfly, often with some pruinescence on adult bodies .[3] Like other members of the Megapodagrionidae family it rests with its wings outspread.[5]
