Austroargiolestes amabilis is a species of Australian damselfly in the family Megapodagrionidae,[2] commonly known as a flame flatwing.[3] It is endemic to eastern Australia, where it inhabits streams in rainforest.[4]
Austroargiolestes amabilis is a medium-sized to large, black and bright yellow-orange damselfly, without pruinescence.[3] Like other members of the Megapodagrionidae family it rests with its wings outspread.[5]
