Astralis or Team Astralis is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team founded in January 2016 by members of "Team Question Mark" after they left Team SoloMid.[1] They have received an investment of several million Danish kroner from Sunstone Capital and the Danish entrepreneur Tommy Ahlers and are incorporating as Astralis ApS.[2] The organization is operated by RFRSH Entertainment, with players owning an undisclosed non-majority amount of equity. [3] When founding member Rene 'cajunb' Borg transferred to Team Dignitas on May 19, 2016,[4] the team stated that he would keep a small portion of his shares in the company, but would no longer have an active role in day-to-day business.[5] On October 19, 2016 it was announced that Astralis had sold Finn 'Karrigan' Andersen to FaZe Clan[6] and on October 24 it was announced that Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander had joined Astralis for an undisclosed fee.
