Assheton Pownall (priest)

The Ven. Assheton Pownall (born Liverpool, 1823 - d Dover 1886 ) was Archdeacon of Leicester^[1] from 1884^[2] until his death.^[3]

Pownall was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford.^[4] He was Rector of South Kilworth^[5] for 39 years.^[6]
