Assheton Pownall (priest)
The Ven. Assheton Pownall (born Liverpool, 1823 - d Dover 1886 ) was Archdeacon of Leicester[1] from 1884[2] until his death.[3]
Pownall was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford.[4] He was Rector of South Kilworth[5] for 39 years.[6]
