Rear Admiral (Junior Grade) Asiel Kubu is a South African Navy officer currently serving as Director Naval Personnel.[1]
He joined the Navy as a Midshipman at the South African Naval College in 1992 as one of the first black officers to attend the College.[2] He will assume the position of Chief of Naval Staff in 2017.[3]
