Ashraf Abdel Baqi
Ashraf Abdel Baqi (1963-) is an Egyptian actor and comedian.
Personal life
Baqi graduated from Ain Shams University's Faculty of Commerce, later deciding to enter a drama career despite his parent's dislike for acting. However, Baqi's parents later changed their opinion after he received support from his older brother.[1]
Acting career
Baqi has acted in 54 films, 16 soap operas, and 14 plays, with the play Khashab Al-Ward being his first role on stage.[1] He persuaded Fouad el-Mohandes and his wife Shwikar to be in the film Estanglina, which stars Baqi.[2] He was honored at the Cairo International Film Festival for Children.[3]
