Ashotsk (Armenian: Աշոցք, also Romanized as Ashoc’k’ and Ashotsq; formerly, Kzyl-Koch, Kyzyl”-koch”, Kyzylkach, Verin-Gukasyan, Kizilkoch, Gukasyan, Ghukasyan) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Shirak Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 2,482 in 2010,[1] up from 2,378 at the 2001 census.[2]
