Arvid
Arvid, Arved, Arnvid or Arvydas is a male given name, most common in Scandinavia but also in Persia and Lithuania. In Scandinavia it is derived from Old Norse Arnviðr[1] and means "forest of eagles". In Old Persian Arvid is derived from Arya + veid means "Aryan knowledge". [2]
