Arthur Clinton Morgan (1881 – 2 August 1957) was an Australian politician. He was a Member of the Australian House of Representatives.
Early life
Morgan was the son of Queensland Premier Sir Arthur Morgan and the grandson of James Morgan, Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.
Born in Warwick, Queensland, he was educated at state schools before becoming a journalist. He served in the military 1914-1917, and returned to become an associate editor in Brisbane. He edited Graziers' Review from 1921-1927.
Politics
In 1929, Morgan was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Nationalist member for Darling Downs, defeating sitting member Littleton Groom, who was running as an independent. He held the seat until his defeat by Groom, again running as an independent, in 1931.
Later life
Morgan died in 1957.[1]
