Armando Baptista-Bastos

Armando Baptista-Bastos (Lisbon, 27 February 1933 – Lisbon, 9 May 2017) was a Portuguese journalist and writer.

He was born in Bairro da Ajuda, but his mother died when he was young, only six years old. His father, a printer by trade, working at O Século, influenced his interest in journalism and writing, which would accompany him in years to come. He also studied French at the Liceu Francês Charles Lepierre.
