Ariadna Romero (born 19 September 1986 in Fomento) is a Cuban model and actress naturalized Italian.
Biography
She started her career as a model in 2009 when a talent scout,[1] during her first photoshoot in Cuba with an Italian troupe, asked her to move to Italy, when she lives between Milan and Turin; in 2011 she debuted as actress becoming the female lead in Leonardo Pieraccioni's feature film Finally the Happiness.[2][3] Ariadna Romero in January 2012 took part[4][5] (with Bobo Vieri, Andrés Gil, Anna Tatangelo, Ria Antoniou, Alex Belli and other contestant) in the Italian reality show Ballando con le Stelle hosted on Rai 1 by Milly Carlucci with Paolo Belli and his Big Band. Ariadna Romero in 2013 took part[1] in the second season of Pechino Express with Francesca Fioretti, the Italian version of the international reality show Peking Express (aired on Rai 2 and hosted by Costantino della Gherardesca); in that game[6] the couple Romero-Fioretti obtained the second place. Romero in 2014 took part, with Enzo Iacchetti, in La papera non fa l'eco,[7] a variety show hosted on Rai 2 by Max Giusti. Romero in 2015 hosted, with Fabio Tavelli, Studio EuroBasket, a program aired by Sky Sport Italia, channel of Murdoch's Sky Italia.[8][9] Romero won the Italian prize Eilat Diamonds Award (Premio Eilat Diamonds)[10] in July 2016 «for her professional achievements and the perfect combination of beauty and talent»[10] («per i suoi successi professionali e per il perfetto connubio tra bellezza e talento»).[10] In the same year (2016) Romero was the female lead[10] in the Roberto Capucci's feature film Ovunque tu sarai.[10]
Arianna Romero married Lorenzo Gergati in a civil ceremony in Varese on 20 December 2012;[11] the catholic rite was celebrated on 7 July 2013 in Cuba.[12]
