Argoed is a small village in the community of Nantmel, Powys, Wales, which is 55 miles (88 km) from Cardiff and 152 miles (244 km) from London.[1]
The Argoed water mill dates back to at least 1840. It stands on Nant Treflyn, a tributary of the River Wye, not far from Doldowlod Hall, Llanwrthwl.[2] The property has recently been converted to a holiday-let cottage.
