Archibasis mimetes is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae,[2] commonly known as a blue-banded longtail.[3] It is a medium-sized damselfly; the male is bright blue and black.[3] It has been recorded from New Guinea and northern Australia,[4] where it inhabits streams.[5]
