Arbaz Khan (born 1 September 2001) is Pakistani rapper, songwriter and music producer from Islamabad, Pakistan. Khan gained popularity in 2014 after releasing controversial video for his song "Jhootha" featuring Mathira.[1]

Early life

Khan was born on 1 September 2001 in Islamabad, Pakistan to a Muslim family.

Career

According to Khan, Afzal Mayo he is inspired by rappers like Lil Wayne, Drake, Bohemia and Yo Yo Honey Singh.[2]

In early 2013 Beyond Records signed Khan and on September 28, 2013 he released his debut single “12 Saal Ka Larka” then on January 1, 2014, Khan released another single "Jhootha" featuring actress Mathira. The public reaction to the video were against Mathira and her performance was considered vulgar.[3] Mathira responded by saying, “It’s a nice, lovable and cute video and there is nothing chichora (vulgar) about it,”[4][5]
