Appleton Estate is a Jamaican rum brand owned by the Campari Group.
History
The first production of rum produced in Appleton plantation, located in the Nassau Valley, dating back to 1749; legend has it that in founding the plantation was Sir Francis Dickenson, in 1655. The company passed mao several times, until 2014, when it was bought by Gruppo Campari.
Product
The Appleton Estate VX is a mixture of 15 of molasses rum, aged 5 years old, from 40 ° alcohol content. It is a very soft rum, full-bodied, very pleasant and just sweet. The color is warm gold and is very rich in character. The aroma is fruity, with a hint of exotic spices like ginger, nutmeg and vanilla.
