Anthony Crean

Fr. Anthony Joseph Crean (13 June 1911 – 21 March 1975) was an English Roman Catholic priest who was murdered by serial killer Patrick Mackay.[1]

Crean was born in Brentford, Middlesex, England. Fr. Crean had served the Gibraltar Diocese, and was in semi-retirement he was acting as chaplain in Shorne, Kent, at the time of his murder.[2] On 22 March 1975, Mackay murdered Creane with an axe in the small Shorne cottage he lived in.[3][4]
