Annette Kurschus

Annette Kurschus (2015)

Annette Kurschus (born 14 February 1963 in Rotenburg an der Fulda) is a German bishop, titled Präses, of Evangelical Church of Westphalia. She is also Vice-President of the Council of the EKD.

Life

Kurschus studied theology at the University of Bonn, at the University of Marburg, at the University of Münster and at the Kirchliche Hochschule Wuppertal/Bethel. In 2012, she followed Alfred Buß as präses of Evangelical Church of Westphalia.[1] She is since 2015 member of EKD-Rat.[2]
