Anhembi virus

The Anhembi virus (AMBV) is a strain of Wyeomyia virus in the genus Bunyavirus, belonging serologically to the Bunyamwera serogroup.It is isolated from the rodent, Proechimys iheringi, and an arthropod, Phoniomyia pilicauda, in São Paulo, Brazil. Until 2001 that virus have not reported to cause disease in humans.[1]
