Angela White (born 4 March 1985) is an AVN Award winning Australian pornographic actress and director.[1] Having started her career in the adult industry in 2003,[1] she obtained a university degree in 2010 and ran for political office that same year. White identifies as bisexual.[2]

Career

White began her career in the adult industry in 2003.[1][3] Her first scene was shot by Score just after she turned 18 years-old.[3]

White shot her first boy/girl scene in 2011 for the DVD Angela White Finally Fucks.[3]

In November 2013, White launched her official website angelawhite.com and has since produced and shot exclusively for her website.[4] Later that month, White and Jessa Rhodes were named Official Trophy Girls for the 2014 XBIZ Awards.[5]

In October 2014 White signed a distribution deal with Girlfriends Films to release films. Her first film, Angela, featured her first anal, interracial anal, double penetration (DP), and all anal threesome.[6] In the same month Fleshlight, makers of a masturbation tool for men named White their newest Fleshlight Girl.[7] She is the first Australian to be named a Fleshlight Girl.[8]

Education

In 2007, White enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Melbourne. She graduated with first-class honours in gender studies in 2010.[16] For her honours thesis she conducted qualitative research into female experiences in the Australian pornography industry.[17]

White has said she would like to go back to university to complete her PhD., stating she’d like to expand on her studies to include a broader cross section of performers.[17]

Politics

In 2010, White ran as a political candidate for the Australian Sex Party in the Victorian state election,[16] where she fought for the rights of sex workers.[18] She gained exposure during the election when she sent copies of her DVDs to Attorney General Rob Hulls in her bid to reduce regulations for X-rated films.[19]

In 2013, White and fellow Australian Sex Party candidate Zahra Stardust became the first political candidates to film a pornographic scene together.[20]
