Andrew Thatcher is an Australian born actor and film director. His directing highlights include the action films Urban Lockdown and Charity Hurts.

Biography

Andrew Thatcher was born in Sydney, Australia. He is of Spanish and Australian descent. He drew and created his own graphic novel and wrote several stories, acted in school productions and wrote and performed in a HSC production. Outside of film making and acting Andrew has a passion for photography and has had his works published on numerous occasions. He also enjoys drawing, writing and martial arts. He has also been developing various video games.

He has been lead actor in a Hyundai financial advertisement, appeared as an extra in Home and Away, has appeared as the lead in a year-long running ABC2 TV spot, had modelled extensively, and had starred in various independent features and shorts.

Thatcher originally voiced roles in animation before venturing into short films. His first role in a feature film was in A Fist Full of Bullets which was made on a shoe string budget.[1] While his favourite genre is action he has experimented with horror, drama and comedy.
