Andres (Navarro) Avila (born June 20, 1990) is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher for the Leones de Yucatán of the Mexican Baseball League.
Avila signed as a non drafted free agent with the Oakland Athletics on April 5, 2010. He played with them through the 2016 season and then signed as a minor league free agent with the Atlanta Braves. He was released by the Braves in March 2017.[1]
On June 24, 2017, Avila signed with the Tigres de Quintana Roo of the Mexican Baseball League. He was traded to the Leones de Yucatán on June 25, 2017.
Avila was chosen for the Mexico national baseball team at the 2017 World Baseball Classic.[2]
