Andre Morgan is a film producer, occasional actor and writer. As a producer, he produced the 1978 Vietnam war film, The Boys in Company C, and the 1983 film, High Road to China. He was executive producer for the Chuck Norris television series, Walker, Texas Ranger.

Background

Morgan was born in French Morocco. His mother was English and his father was in the US Navy. He was educated in both England and the United States. While in the States, he attended Kansas University where he majored in Chinese. He was also close friends with Raymond Chow.[1]

Career

Producer

In the 1970s he joined the film production company, Golden Harvest. From then he did some film work with Bruce Lee.[2] Along with Al Ruddy, he is the co-director of the Ruddy Morgan Organization, which over a 20 year period produced 35 feature films and hundreds of hours of television.[3][4]

As a producer, he produced The Man From Hong Kong which starred Jimmy Wang Yu, George Lazenby and Frank Thring.[5]

Actor

As an actor, he appeared in the 1973 film When Taekwondo Strikes, playing the part of the captured priest, Father Louis.[6] He also had a part in The Man From Hong Kong.[7]
