Amy Mary Dalby (1888 — 10 March 1969) was an English actress[1] of stage and screen, often in kindly or eccentric spinster roles.

Born in the Clerkenwell area of central London, Dalby died in London.

Selected filmography

Dalby's final performance, past her 80th birthday, was in the 8 March 1969 episode "The Battle of Godfrey's Cottage",[2] portraying the sister of Private Godfrey. She died on 10 March — two days after the episode aired.[3]
