amsynth is an open source realtime software synthesizer for Linux. Its operation is similar to analog Moog Minimoog and Roland Juno-60, which are considered classic synthesizers from the 1970s.[1]
The two main oscillators support five cyclic waveforms and one noise source.[1] There is also an LFO for vibrato effects.[1]
Often this software is used by musicians that want to replicate the sound of analog synthesizers mostly utilized in those years by groups like “Yes”,EL&P ,King Krimson and etc.
