Amp Electric Vehicles
Amp Electric Vehicles (Amp Holding Inc., OTCQB: AMPD) a Cincinnati, Ohio-based early-stage automotive company that converts sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to emission-free electric vehicles (EVs) was established in 2007. Among their current offerings are electric versions of the Mercedes-Benz ML350 and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The company has delivered an electric vehicle to Dayton Power & Light, and they have a five-year, 1,000 SUV order from Northern Lights Energy in Iceland.[1][2]
AMP using Lithium iron phosphate batteries that cells are purchased from battery vendors and then built as AMP’s own battery packs around those cells and the company’s electronics/software systems in a simple series solution.[3]
