American Fangs are a 5-piece rock and roll outfit from Houston, Texas.[1]
Background
The Fangs' first album, American Fangs EP, was released in January 2009, followed by their self-titled LP in May 2013 via In De Goot/ Sony RED.[2] The band have gone onto producing their "Pomona" EP and have announced the arrival of their next album, Dirty Legs, due to be released 4 July 2015 through Best Before Records worldwide with tracks produced by the Grammy-nominated NYC producer Machine, recorded and mixed in Austin Texas .[3][4]
Their single "Pomona" spent over a month in top 5 on Sirius XM Octane radio chart, peaking at #2.[5] The 'Pomona' music video featured on VEVO possesses over 62k views.[6]
American Fangs have supported the likes of Deftones, Papa Roach,[7] Fall Out Boy, Hollywood Undead,[8] Middle Class Rut, The Virginmarys, Wilson / The Greenery, Sevendust, and Taproot / Sleepwave.[9][10]
The festivals that the band have performed on include: Download Festival, SXSW,[11][12] Ship Rocked,[13][14] Rock on the Range, Carolina Rebellion, Rocklahoma, Free Press Summer Fest, KFMA Fall Ball, Festapalooza Shreveport.[15][16]

The band made news when a man claiming to be a vampire assaulted a member of the band playing on 14 May 2013 at the La Crosse Center and drove a barricade through a window of the tour bus, according to police reports.[18]
