Alophoixus is a genus of songbird in the bulbul family, Pycnonotidae. All the species were re-classified from the genus Criniger in 2009 and are found in south-eastern Asia.[1]
There are seven species recognized:[2]
- Finsch's bulbul (Alophoixus finschii)
- White-throated bulbul (Alophoixus flaveolus)
- Puff-throated bulbul (Alophoixus pallidus)
- Ochraceous bulbul (Alophoixus ochraceus)
- Grey-cheeked bulbul (Alophoixus bres)
- Palawan bulbul (Alophoixus frater)
- Yellow-bellied bulbul (Alophoixus phaeocephalus)
