Allan Taylor, born in Brighton, England in 1945, is a singer-songwriter who has written and performed his song around the world for over forty five years. Allan's style of music is described in his biography as capturing vignettes of life.[1]

Some of Allan's songs have been extensively covered by other artists, including It's Good to See You and the very poignant Roll On the Day which developed from Allan's personal experience witnessing the effects of a lifetime of working in a coal mine.[2]

With a career that spans the very beginnings of Beatnik and Skiffle in Brighton to the folk scene in Greenwich Village in New York and everything that has occurred in the musical world since, Allan brings a significant degree of experience and maturity to his music.
