Gordon Allan Lawrie (1886 – 10 May 1915) was a Scottish professional football forward who played in the Scottish League for Aberdeen.[2]
Personal life
Soon after the outbreak of the First World War in August 1914, Lawrie enlisted as a private in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.[3] He was serving in 'D' Company, 2nd Battalion when he was killed in Flanders on 10 May 1915.[1][4] He is commemorated on the Menin Gate.[3]
