Alister Smart
Alister Smart (born 1934) is an Australian television director whose work includes Sons and Daughters, Richmond Hill and Prisoner. He is also an actor having appeared in many productions. He had a prominent role as Duncan Hunter in the film version of the soap opera Number 96; however, he remains best known for his 25 year stint, as one of the original presenters on the Australian version of the pre-school children's programme, Play School from the 1966 until the 1991.[1]
