Ali Ghazal (Arabic; علي احمد علي محمد غزال ; born 1 February 1992) is an Egyptian footballer who plays for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer. In May 2013 Ghazal was called up for Egyptian national first team.[3] He plays as a Defensive Midfielder but can also play as a Centre back.
Club career
Ghazal joined Nacional from Egyptian side Wadi Degla in 2013.
In 2017, He was sold to Chinese club Guizhou Zhicheng for a fee of €2.6 million. However, due to the new Chinese Football Association player regulations, which decreased the number of foreign players permitted to play, Ghazal did not make an appearance for the club. In July, Ghazal and Guizhou Zhicheng mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
On 10 August 2017, Ghazal signed with Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC.[4]
International career
After playing for Egyptian under 20's side, Ghazal made his international debut Egypt in 2013.[3]
