Algernon S. Speer

Algernon Sidney Speer

Dr. Algernon Sidney Speer was a Florida settler and politician, serving as House of Representative for Orange County, Florida in the Florida State Legislature[1][2] from 1854-1855.[3] Before his political career, he was also a lawyer,[4] horticulturist, farmer.[5][6][7] The place Speer's Landing carries his namesake.[8]
