Works

Alexandra Bachzetsis’s work generates spaces where the body is manifested as both, a critical and artistically apparatus. The way in which popular culture influences in the gestures, expressions and human fantasies is a constant in the artistically investigations in her work.

Clichés are a recurring theme in her work and in her performances she uses the representations that the sex and show industries have created in contemporary popular culture as tools of construction of corporal languages that lead to auto reflection and empowerment.
