Alex Farquharson

Alex Farquharson is a British curator and art critic who was appointed director of Tate Britain in Summer 2015. He is currently the Chair of the Turner Prize. Previously, he was director of Nottingham Contemporary. Prior to Nottingham Contemporary he taught the MA curating course at the Royal College of Art.

Farquharson received an honorary doctorate from The University of Nottingham. He is a graduate of Exeter University.
