Albert Derrick (born 6 August 1939) is a Welsh former professional footballer. An inside forward, he joined Newport County briefly in 1960 after leaving the British Army. He subsequently joined Hereford United but returned to Newport County in 1969.[1]
Personal
His father Albert Derrick (Senior) made 145 appearances for Newport County between 1935 and 1945, scoring 57 goals. Albert Derrick (Senior) was posthumously inducted to the Newport County Hall of Fame in the inaugural elections on 18 September 2009.
