Alan Winde is a South African politician who has served as a member of the Western Cape Provincial Legislature since 1999, representing the Democratic Alliance.
He currently serves as the Minister of Economic Opportunities.[1]
Winde has been critical of controversial immigration regulations introduced by the Government of South Africa which he alleges has harmed tourism in the Western Cape. He has also organised a petition against the regulations.[2]
He has one daughter and one son.
