The Alachua County Sheriff's Office is the chief law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Alachua County, Florida, United States. The current sheriff, Sadie Darnell, is the first female sheriff for the county.

In June 2007, it was reported that 10 employees in the Sheriff's office, including the jail's director, had either been fired or resigned while being investigated.[1]

The office has at least one Bearcat armored vehicle and two helicopters provided by the federal government under various programs.[2]
