Al-Maqar(Malayalam: അൽ മഖർ) is a national Islamic university which runs 19 educational and charity institutions with 4300 students. Headquartered at Darul Aman,^[1][2][3] Thaliparamba in Kannur, Kerala, India. It operates various facilities such as an orphanage, schools, colleges, and a technical centre. Students who complete their graduate studies in Al-Maqar take the title Amani.
