Coordinates: 40°14′N 44°15′E / 40.233°N 44.250°E / 40.233; 44.250 Aknalich (Armenian: Ակնալիճ; formerly, Aygherlich) is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. The village is situated on a lake, after which it is named, to the east of Metsamor.

Aknalich village is the site of the only Yazidi temple in Armenia. A new temple in the village known as Quba Mere Diwane, is currently under construction and envisaged to be inaugurated in 2017 to become the world's largest Yazidi Temple.[1][2]
