Anisonyches is a genus of tardigrades in the family Echiniscoididae[1] The genus was named by Leland W. Pollock in 1975. Its etymology is from aniso (anise, Greek: anithos) and nyches, Greek for nail, literally they are known as nailed anise.
The two species are mainly founded in the western Atlantic Ocean especially in deep waters, Anisonychus mauritianus (Mauritian water bear) are founded within Mauritius.

According to Degma, Bertolani et Guidetti (2016),[1] this genus includes three species:
- Anisonyches deliquus Chang & Rho, 1998
- Anisonyches diakidius Pollock, 1975
- Anisonyches mauritianus Grimaldi de Zio, D’Addabbo Gallo, Morone De Lucia & Daddabbo, 1987
