The 19944 / 43 Ahmedabad Udaipur Express was a meter gauge express train belonging to Indian Railways - Western Railway zone that ran between Ahmedabad Junction & Udaipur City in the states of Gujarat & Rajasthan in India. It ran as train number 19944 from Ahmedabad Junction to Udaipur City and as train number 19943 in the reverse direction.
The train was discontinued due to track conversion to broad gauge.[1][2][3]
Operations
The express train covered the distance of 298 km (185 mi) in 10 hours 20 mins (28.84 km/h (17.92 mph)) as 19944, and in 10 hours 40 mins as 19943 (27.94 km/h (17.36 mph))
The express train ran from Ahmedabad Junction via Himmatnagar, Dungarpur, Kharwa Chanda to Udaipur City. The train was hauled by a Sabarmati based YDM 4 for its entire journey.
