Ahilyanagari Express Malayalam: തിരുവനന്തപുരം – ഇന്ഡോര് അഹല്യനഗരി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ്, Hindi: तिरुवनंतपुरम – इंदौर अहल्यनगरी एक्सप्रेस; is a weekly Superfast train of the Indian Railways, running between Indore Junction BG railway station of Indore, the largest city and commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh and Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala.[1][2][3]
The name Ahilyanagari signifies the former name of the city of the Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar that is Indore. Previously it was running between Cochin Harbour Terminus and Indore, later it extended to Thiruvananthapuram.
